In the heart of Gujarat’s football fervour, the Vadodara Warriors have emerged among the top 2, securing their place in the highly anticipated finals of the Gujarat Super League. With every match, they’ve showcased not just skill but also unwavering courage.

The journey to the finals hasn’t been without its share of nail-biting moments and some amazing challenges. The latest was the 13th match, where the Vadodara Warriors clashed with the Karnavati Knights in a showdown that left spectators on the edge of their seats. The match ended in a thrilling tie, with both teams scoring one goal each. The captain of Karnavati Knights, Pratik Swami scored a goal through a penalty kick in the 25th minute; while warrior Manvir Singh scored a goal in the 35th minute. 

As the dust settled and the points table came to light, the Vadodara Warriors made it to the esteemed second position, having accumulated a commendable tally of 10 points. However, standing just a step ahead with 11 points are the Karnavati Knights, setting the stage for an epic showdown in the finals on the 12th of May. On the other hand, the Saurashtra Spartans lost their match with the Ahmedabad Avengers, leaving both teams tied at 9 points.

Amidst the anticipation and excitement surrounding the finals, the stage is set for a grand game. Adding to the allure of the event would be the distinguished guests who will grace the occasion. Serving as the Chief Guest for the finals is none other than the Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel. Joining him as the Guest of Honour is the Sports Minister of Mizoram, Mr. Hamar, who also holds the esteemed positions of Chairman of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) League Committee and AIFF Executive Committee Member. Completing the esteemed lineup is AIFF Executive Committee Member, Sayed Naqvi.
